Default Strange electrical

Looked at a 2000 today with 89,000 miles and one owner. I think the interior had gotten wet as the carpets were wet and radio seemed to show moisture. Strange part was both seats did not move, radio dead, climate controlled worked but fan would not come on, wipers did not work, trunk and fuel door did not release and top would not go down as Windows would not drop.
any ideas? A single issue of a module or multiple issues. Great price but.....
thanks.

That is the Body Processor Module (BPM), it controls all of that plus lights plus mirrors etc.

Could be a couple of fuses blown if the carpet is wet but needs checked. The BPM is up above the glovebox. Was the car in a flood, I wonder...

Do check the fuses though...

There is one king relay that controls each box of fuses . Put your finger on the relay and feel if it gets it's commanded click closed from the key switch rotated to on before start detent .

Sounds to me like a flood car.

Definitely sounds like the cars been in a flood. Another problem area will be the SCLM (security module) It is mounted under the fuse box in the trunk and it will not let you into fuel/trunk if it is wet and corroded.
