Returned to my car after a 5 min stop. Door window dropped, but didn't go up upon closing the door. Car completely dead, no interior lights, no crank, no nothing EXCEPT a faint glow in oil warning, charge light and alarm light.
These lights kept glowing in all key positions and also with key out. Clock continued running.
OMG, thought of a major short circuit or a total electronic breakdown.
Back in the trunk, wiggeled negative battery connection, nothing.
Wiggeled positive cable, and voila, trunk light came on and everything else back to normal.
Moral: Clean you battery posts.
