Default Stupid newbie question

Well I just sold my 1966 Mustang and am now looking for a XK vert. This forum has already been an invaluable resource as I have trolled for the last week or so. I think I pretty much got it down that the extra bucks spent on a 03 or later XK with the 4.2 is well worth it given the problems of the earlier models. But here is my kind of stupid question;
I am 6'2" how do you taller guys find these cars in terms of interior drivers space?

Thanks for the help already given and for all the help yet to come.

Lorwood
I'm 6' 4" and I'm slightly cramped. But I drove from Dallas to Illinois 1,000 miles and it was one of the most relaxing drives. My head does not hit the convertible top, but some tall guys have complained, might depend on your build. You should test drive them before you buy, That's one of the reasons I purchased a XKR over the Xk8, I looked for over a year before buying.
Good Luck, You'll find a great bunch on this forum

I'm also 6'4" and I find the car very comfortable. I like to sit in a rather reclined position, and with the seat reclined slightly the car fits like a comfortable glove. If I sit too upright my forward vision is blocked by the top of the windshield.

Is this the part we all start to measure ourselves. I too am 6'4 plus and have a coupe. My biggest gripe is the foot well space. The wrong shoes and your catching it on the brake pedal. The seat in my 99 does not have all of the adjustments of the revised models. The newer ones I have sat in are far more forgiving than the older style. I think the newer one would suit your frame better.

As tall as you are you can do the over the windscreen look as I have on other convertibles. Just to get noticed and give the lemmings something to go home and talk about. When they point I smile and briskley drive away.

Spring time is around the corner, 58 today and not a cloud in the sky. Top is down on the Mustang.

Actually I sat in a few and have no problems. Even have head room with the top up! I guess its all about proportions. Thanks

I'm 6ft 3ins and have long legs. I have no proble with them unlike with my old SLK which was not good for me!
