can anyone tell me if the 4.0 and 4.2 superchargers are the same? i mean the mounts on the block, the top manifold that connects to the intercoolers etc. i have a 4.2 sc engine for a project that has a damaged supercharger. the rotors are damaged and the top manifold is missing. the engine has the same intercoolers as my 2001 XJR X308 so the coupleing donuts should be the same. im getting conflicting information as to whether a 4.0 blower will work on a 4.2. thanks this one is for 4.0 and is available on ebay this one is 4.2 also available on ebay but much higher price

According to Jaguar classic parts, the part number for supercharger supersedes to the same part number for all Vin numbers. Part # AJ85326 NLA.
