Default Supercharger removal 2006 XKR (X100)

I'm removing my supercharger to get at a fuel leak on my fuel rail. I am stuck at the induction elbow below the throttle body. All of the bolts are out the hose clamps to the intercooler are loose, but it is just not coming out. Any tips or tricks to remove it would be appreciated.

Leak from one of the pulsation dampers, I assume?
Several threads on this forum discuss this not too uncommon issue. The preferred fix by many is to remove the dampers and seal-weld the openings. Not a cheap job (unless you're best buddies with a highly qualified welder), but comically expensive replacement dampers have been known to start leaking not very long after the supercharger was reinstalled. Not a risk I wanted to take, so I had mine welded.

new dampers are cheap. if the o-ring and not the seam is leaking just use the double o-ring fix it works. done several rovers this way

Interesting, the only dampers I could find back when I researched this were something like $300 each. Where did you source yours?

Default Welding fuel rails

When fuel rails are welded in place of dampers was there a noticeable change in injector noise?

I have not detected any additional noise. Did not have any before or after.
