hi guys.it has been a while since my last post in march ( replace front crossbeam on a 2000 jag xkr) but since replacing the cross frame i've being having too much fun driving the jag. Now it's time to put it away and do more work on it. Can anyone tell me if it is normal for the supercharger to wine. It has since i got the car but now that i put the roof up it seems louder.

The whine is definitely normal at the higher revs. I have found, however, that an aftermarket exhaust, (even a moderate one like the Mina that I have) drowns it out just about completely.

That is the sweet sound of a blown engine, abolutely normal! As WhiteXKR mentioned you will hear it differently depending on RPM's.
