Well, after having read numerous post and submitting my own post about this problem, I have found the sources of all my headaches. First, both shock tower mounts are TOAST...with the drivers side being the worst. The mount has been banging against the top of the shock tower and sending the noise thru my engines cross brace which then in turn makes a load noise in the dash area on the drivers side. My sway bar bushings are bad as well. I assume my shocks need replacing as well, not the springs though. The sway bar on the drivers side has been hitting on the cars wheel well ...So my plan is to replace both shock mounts..215.00x2 from the dealer..the bushings for 20.00 and two new shocks for 200.00, just need to find the best place on the internet for the Bilsteins....grand total of 435.00 and some change....I will be doing the work my self, of course! You dont want to know what the dealer said and what I said they could do with it...LOL So i have attached some pictures...because everyone likes pictures....

 

Don't forget the sway bar end links, they're probably just as bad, and will only diminish all your hard work if you disregard them. Look at RockAuto.com for the Deeza or Moog parts, $30 ea, max. Partsgeek.com always had the best prices on Bilsteins when I went shopping. Ignore the jaguar part numbers with higher prices, they're the same ones as listed below at $100 ea, roundabouts.

 

I think I paid $157 each for the mounts through Gaudin Jag online about a month ago. You can pull it up on your computer and price the stuff out. They do hit pretty hard on shipping, though. So, the more you buy in one shot, the better.
