2004 XKR
can I swap these ending with the chrome on the 2004 XKR? It looks sooo much better. How do they come off?

 

Yes they can be readily swapped. Remove the trunk lid liner, unfasten the bolts and disconnect the trunk lid button and the license plate lights. Be careful not to break the plastic when loosening and tightening the bolts. It becomes brittle and breaks easily.
