Trying to find the physical location for the transmission control module on 97 XK8.

 

in with the main computer, engine bay, nearest to firewall under the triangle like plastic cover with a hole in it. It is tight quarters in there but if I recall correctly the trans ecu comes out first. Be careful, take your time to pull it out (wires).

 

Yes, and if you disconnect either remove the neg. battery cable from the battery first.
