Hello guys! Would you help me, what is the color code of a platinum silver (or only silver?) 2001 XKR Silverstone coupe? Is it actually the same color as any silver colored xk8-xkr are from those were produced in between this period?

 

Platinum silver is MDZ, there is also Meteorite silver which has a more goldie colour to it which can be either MDX or MDT....

As far as I know the Silverstone were platinum however there are 3 different shades of this silver, these do not have a code and something done from factory, they are surprisingly different

 

So there is minimal chance that a silver painted body panel from a broken car will match to another silver colored car. Bad news. Anyway thank you.
