Default Are these chips enough to ruin this reluctor ring

If you look closely, you will notice that two of the teeth on this reluctor wheel are chipped. I get no reading from this wheel. I have swapped the wheel speed sensors and the problem remains on this wheel. I have tested the wire for continuity from the sensor all the way to the ABS module-all good.
this is a 2003 XKR 4.2 Supercharged.

This problem appeared when I changed the front strut top mounts. The problem, at this point, must be with this ring or the ABS module, and I can’t see how changing out the strut mount could have damaged the module.

Connect your ohm meter to the sensor and rotate the wheel. you should see a change in resistance for each notch.

Default I’ve heard that I can try voltage from the sensor while turning the wheel,

…but it is only supposed to put out .5 to 1 volt. My multimeter doesn’t read AC voltage that low.

What should the readings be when testing ohms?

I don't know the ohm reading but it should fluctuate back and forth, as in, on off on off on off. Maybe someone knows the values??? Hope it helps

Don't worry about the actual resistance, just confirm that it fluctuates. It may be 1K ohms
