Throttle adjustment now PO175 too rich bank B code
Hi All,
I adjusted my throttle cable recently and when I started the engine it revved to about 3500 RPM.
I did a hard reset and started it again, and it dropped to about 800 RPM.
A day later I got a PO175 Bank B too rich code. Do you think it may be just a coincidence of should I back off the throttle cable to its position before the code came up?
Regards,
Karl

The throttle cable simply operates a butterfly flap that opens to allow more air and closes for less air. The throttle can't give more air to one bank than the other. Fuel injectors control the air/fuel mixture based on what the ECM decides is the correct duration for injector pulse. If both banks were to rich it could be the adjustment but I don't see it for one bank. You might want to take a set of STFT and LTFT then post the results so the folks can take a look and advise.
