i have a 98 xk8 that i have rebuilt and cant get rid of a starting issue. A great fella on here (test point)has help me with the electrical side of things but im assured its got the wrong throttle body. i got all excited the day when i read about the service recall , especially when mine qualified for a new throttle body for free!
however, my local jag dealership insists mine has been done! does anyone have a picture of one (preferably in situ) so i can see if it has been swapped. it does say XJ8 on it which makes me think it has.

There is an unplugged multi plug to the rear that i cant find a home for.

Go on Ebay and type in "jaguar throttle body" in the search box. There are several for sale with pictures.

 

So why does your xk8 have any xj8 throttle body? Just a question I do not know if they are interchangeable or not.
