Wish I had known you were selling the 2001 XK would have been really interested.

Thanks for the welcome when I came along. Enjoy the latest. I am about 3 years behind your pace so keep us informed about that '07. At some point I am sure many of us will consider one. Jac

Jac,

Although it's a natural progression to the XK for me, many members prefer the steel bodied 1996-2006 model and will stay with it. This earlier model has a timeless elegance which is certain to raise it to sought after classic status as the remaining numbers diminish.

My logic with going for an early XK is to learn about the issues on a (relatively) low cost example before deciding whether to go for an almost new one. I'm hoping any issues that arise aren't too drastic!

Yep. I am in that camp, but never cease to amaze myself with my ability to see things from a different vantage point as time goes by and change my mind!
