Timing chains - project completed
1999 XK8 with 105K miles. Project completed ! I thought I was finished but found a pinhole oil leak at timing chain cover. Removed cover, replaced gasket and bought a 1/4" drive torque wrench for greater accuracy at lower settings (11-15nM was at the lowest range of my 3/8" drive wrench). Back together now with no leaks, new water pump, hoses, and aluminum tower.
Yee-Hah , thanks to Jag Forum and Terrys jag parts couldn't have done it without you !
