Default Timing kit...again:-)

Hi

Has anyone with success replaced the old chain guides with the later, reinforced AND longer ones with the holes upside down. I got my parts from SNG Barrat and they keep telling me that it will work...they even sent me the picture below with both old and new guides fitted...I am worried the longer guide will get to close to the sprocket.
Pls share your experience...;-)

All the best

Frank

Default

Quite often superseded parts are not an exact match but are designed to work with the existing items.

Check the sump for any broken or missing parts from the old primary timing chain guides.
