Default Tire pressures

I just bought my “new” 2007 XKR. The tire pressure on my Michelin sports tires say 50 psi and my door jam says 30 front and 33 rear. I don’t want to mess it up, so any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you

The PSI on tires is a Max. Always put in whats on the door.

Welcome to the forum Xkrlover,

Your 2007 XKR should be the later aluminium bodied X150 and not the 1996 - 2006 steel bodied X100.

However, the same advice applies to tyre pressures. Follow the Manufacturer Recommended on the label - NOT the Maximum Permitted on the sidewall:

monitor tire wear weekly or monthly, depending on how much you drive. I put the Jaguar recommended tire pressure in my tires, and it was way too much. Overinflation is easy to spot as it causes the center of the tire tread to wear out first. On my new tires I dropped the pressure down 4 psi, and the new tires appear to be wearing normally.
