I got out at 45 with a damaged vocal cords .. talking over engines on test beds at 6000rpm/full load to students ...got my pension straight away worth £300,000 I did not have to earn 45-65.ran my own business for 20 years after retirement and spent 10 years in Australia. Wife and I got a good pension which goes up with inflation so its all sweetness and light. Keeping above ground is the problem.
