I went with Falken Ziex on my 01 XKR. Looking for price and wear rating, their 440 wear rating was much more than the Goodyears that came off. We'll see?

Let's close it out for now, as I made my choice and their is good doccumentation for others with the same question.

In a year or two, I plan to revisit the question with the responders, as well as comment on my choice: The Michelin Pilot SuperSports.

At only a hundred miles, I can only report they drive well, are quieter and smoother than the Pirrelli P Zero Rosso. I have not, yet, put them to the Orange County CA real world test: A blast up The Ortega Highway, CA 74, from San Juan Capistrano to Lake Elsinore.
