Default Tonneau cover bag

Hello again,

One thing I am missing for my 2005 XKR is that bag that the tonneau goes in when it is not in use. I guess it would be nice to get one of these and was wondering if I should track down from Jaguar parts or search from some aftermarket from the guys that sell these types of things on Ebay.

Thanks,

Doug

I found a guy on ebay that sells them for all cars. I emailed him and gave him the size needed and he custom made one for less then half of an OEM one.

Do you happen to have his email?

Try this and then email them via eBay.

My mom made me one. Those bags aren't that great to begin with. Find a relative with a sewing machine, perhaps.

Actually I just bought one from a guy that sells the boot top covers on Ebay. His seller name is clwco and he is located in San Diego. I talked with him on the phone and he specializes in making the Jaguar boot covers. He spent quite some time telling me how he came up with the template for his covers and explained the better materials he uses as well as the better fit. Even though I did not ask, he was willing to send me the bag even before he received my check. The price was $45 plus $6 shipping and I am quite pleased with it. His bag is a somewhat heavier material and the description is much like the one that Jagbits sells for $77.25 (I wonder if this guy makes them for Jagbits).

Anyway, I can heartily recommend this guy for anyone that needs a replacement boot cover at a reasonable price (he sells for $274).

That might be the guy I purchased my boot cover from. Great color (he asked for my interior code to most closely match it up), and stiffened up too. Very tight fit as well. I agree, if it's the same guy, he's definately recommended by me as well.

H20Boy: All I needed was the bag and that came in black. The boot cover that came with the car matches the interior which is Dove.
