Default Top Fluid

Everyone here knows we need Pentosin CHF11s for the hydraulic system of our convertibe tops. I have sourced a supply that has nothing to do with Jaguar Dealerships.
It so happens that Audi and recent model VW use a mineral based fliud for thier power steering systems. the part number for the fluid is: G 004 012 this fluid is Pentosin CHF11s. The cost for a 12 ounce bottle from my local VW dealer parts counter is $11.65

In case your not quite sure as to believe this or not, the warning on the label states: IMPORTANT, do not mix this fluid with any other hydraulic or power steering fluids other than type CHF 11S...

I hope this helps those who need some of this fluid.

Wheeble

NAPA sells the Pentosin CHF 11s fluid for $17 in an one liter container. It takes a liter to flush and refill the system.

Napa close to me does not, and they had never heard of the stuff. But I have seen it at other Napa stores.
