top latch

Default top latch
I have a 1997 jaguar xk8 that I cannot manually release the convertible latch above the rear mirror, what can I do to get it to unlatch? I have use a lot of pressures on the allen wrench and it will not unlatch?

Default Have you turned the petcock off at the pump?
First thing, is that hydraulic pressure needs to be released by shutting the petcock at the hydraulic pump in the RHS of the trunk.
