When I first got my XKR, with good rear tires, I was chirping the rear tires when I stepped on it at a red light. Therefore, one of the first mods I did was install an LSD. This combined with a 3.27 (vs. stock 3.06) rear axel ratio scares the pants off of me when I step on it at a red light. It also leaves a very big smile on my face for a couple of hours.

That is a bit embarrassing, lucky it was not a shoot out with something inferior, like a 1979 450SL.

Or a MK1 TT

I find the most common things on our Jaguars that result in poor 0-60 times are

#Owner not using premium gas,so the knock sensors will retard timing

1.Slow responding OEM Oxygen Sensors.

2.Bad spark plugs and coils causing timing to be retarded.

3.Stretched gas pedal cable that needs adjusting or replaced.

4.Clogged fuel filters reducing fuel volume at high rpms, that causes timing retard with the knock sensors

5.Air filters that are dirty.

6.MAF thats dirty or responding slower or reading differently than one of the O2 sensors.
These are "no code faults most of the time, just crappy performance"

Address these issues
