Can anyone post the recommended torque values for front suspension bits? Particularly the upper control arm (wishbone) fulcrum bolt and the upper ball joint?

JTIS only goes to 2004

ball joint 60-80 Nm

fulcrum 98 - 132 Nm

 

Well I'm getting ready to do my full front suspension so I went thru the JTIS for my car and put together the attached summary of Torque spec's. These are for a 2003 XK8.

Set the wrench at 80 ft pounds for control arm fulcrum bolt! Thank you so much guys.

FWIW, had a bad 'clunk' from front at even a small bump. Replaced sway bar bushings and end links, then replaced upper control arm bushes.

Clunk is about 95% gone! Woo Hoo! Still have ball joints, tie ends, and shock mounts to do.

 

That's very encouraging. About to start all the front suspension 'bits' on my '05. Terrible clunking at slow speeds driver side. Cheers
