It should be in the trunk under the spare tire. My car came with one, but I've heard many people say that their's didn't. Underneath the front bumper there's a threaded hole that the hook screws into, and on the back bumper there's a little piece that pops out, and underneath that piece there's another threaded hole. With the hook (really it's an "eye") the tow truck driver can pull the car up onto a flatbed without having to crawl underneath it and attach his cable to something that might get damaged.

Here's what it looks like. As you can see, it's made of solid gold. It weighs about a pound, so a lot of people sell them. With the price of gold these days it's worth more than the car in many cases. I put mine on a chain and I wear it around my neck when I drive the Jag. Nothing says "success" like driving a Jag and wearing a one pound hunk of gold around your neck.
