While I was changing the trunk release button, after having partially removed the trunk lid liner, I noticed the paint on the inside of the trunk lid. Is it supposed to look like this?
Under the license tag, there are a lot of openings that do not have any tape covering them. On my 96 VDP, all of the openings behind the license plate are covered. VDP is the white car in the photos.
Is it possible that my trunk lid was replaced because of an accident?
