Trunk micro switch
Anyone have a trunk micro switch for sale? Trying to get my trunk lights to work? The remote opens the trunk but lights don't come on.
I'm told that the switch can still open the trunk lid but not have the lights come on inside. Also that the diode could also be a problem.
For now, I'd like to find a trunk micro switch. It's on the latch in trunk that the lid locks into.

Jaguar part number LNC6242AC
Same as the X300 and X308 Sedans lid latch microswitch.
Call the Jaguar dealer or look online.

When I got my XK8 I tried several micro switches but finally just installed a on/off rocker switch in the trunk next to the latch assembly. Not perfect but I open the trunk and if lights are needed I just flip the switch.
