Default Trunk release
When using the remote key fob to release the trunk is it supposed to pop up all the way or are my gas struts worn. Currently it just unlatches about an 1/2 “

Randy, that's normal to me. Mines same as yours.

I found a huge improvement replacing my hoods struts, just never got around to pricing the trunk struts.

I think that is normal for our era of Jaguars in general. My prior 3 all did the same.

thanks for the feedback. On the prepurchase inspection were the hood struts as they were not able to hold the hood up

Wasn't sure how the truck was supposed to behave
