Is there any way to up the HP in a 97 XK8 ? I like the car and dont want to buy an XKR . It works well has had all upgrades (tensioners, water pump etc...) to 2003 parts.
Thanks for the input in advance.

I bought the cold air intake from Jagxp a few years ago. It did add some hp but not sure how much. It did give the car a unique sound upon hard accelaration. I also installed the mina exhaust. that gave the car a really nice mellow rumble. Nothing you would be ashamed of at all. I would call it close to the sound of the current model XK. The only issue I had with jagxp was not getting the correct hangers for the exhaust. You must let them know the year and model to get the correct hangers. And after a few years the rubber around the liketime filter begins to rot. Probably because of all the heat under the hood. This link shows the coldair and also my repair for the snorkel after the bellows rots. https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=23576

Was your X pipe a DIY, or did you need to have it welded at the front ?
I was under mine today looking at the giant resonator with the factory installed dent and was wondering how much better it would be without that darn thing in there, and just have pipes!
