Default universal central locking system

Hello everyone! my only remote control works very bad, need to press very hard to open or close the car. Without disabling this remote I would like to combine an economical universal system like this.

https://www.amazon.it/KKmoon-Telecom...dDbGljaz10cnVl

I am successfully using an identical system on my Volvo and a technician took care of the installation. Now, with the central locking wiring diagram (which I am attaching for convenience) it shouldn't be difficult. Someone has already done something similar and can tell me where are the right cables to connect to the universal system.
The functions that interest me are opening and closing the two doors. I can forgo the trunk opening if this complicates the matter.
Thanks in advance!

In the spirit of not actually answering the question but trying to be helpful anyway, it is likely cheaper and prone to fewer issues to do one or a combination of

1. see if you can repair your remote yourself (open it up, replace battery, clean the contacts)

2. have your remote repaired (service in the UK might work?)

https://www.ebay.it/itm/Jaguar-key-f...kAAOSwhpZZ7e0y

3. acquire a 'new' remote, they are quite easy to program (again from the UK, but make sure part numbers and frequency match)

https://www.ebay.it/itm/GENUINE-JAGU...IAAOSwpwBfY2bx

4. actually acquire a new remote (same with part number and frequency, and maybe this is not cheaper...)

Good luck with it.

Hi Dale and thanks for your reply
unfortunately these solutions are all more and more expensive then my 17 euros box...

I'd like to add this universal system keeping my warn original remote to wait for buying a new original remote at a decent price... not found in this moment

No worries. Just curious, the installation by the technician is free? Around here, that would be the expensive part unless you did it yourself.

In the spirit of possibly answering the question, power to DD11-12 locks the doors, power to DD11-4 unlocks the doors (both on the driver door control module). That power can come from DD3-12 (or anywhere back on the circuit from there to beyond the '37 in a square' on the diagram) on the other side of the driver's lock. With the new remote system, if you put the locking circuit across the wires from DD11-12 to DD3-12 and put the unlocking circuit across the wires leading to DD11-4 and DD3-12 (i.e. bridge lock to power, door should lock, bridge unlock to power, door should unlock), the system should not know the difference between this and the actual locking mechanism. There are likely other possibilities involving the SLM.

Good luck with it.

thanks Dale!
yes on the Volvo a technician did the job... because the Volvo was not mine... not yet.
In this Jaguar case I'll obviuosly go with a DIY job
I'll try to do the connections and I will update you about the result!!

The cost to clean the contacts and replace the battery is about 1 dollar and might be all you need. Depending on the model year the remote will either use one 2032 or two 2016 batteries. I replace mine every couple of years when I notice the range decreasing.

of course I'e opened the fob replaced the 2 2016 batteries and cleaned the contacts.but it doesn't work anyway .. Sometimes pressing very hard works, most of the time it doesn't. I also tried to make direct contact with the tip of the screwdriver without using the rubber buttons. Nothing. In fact, I doubt that the problem may lie in the car's antenna and not in the remote control itself. But unfortunately I have no way of making the counter-proof

That^^^^^
I wouldn't go lightly messing around with that cars alarm. It's a uniquely integrated Jaguar sorta thing. Could lead to trouble.

in fact my fear is just to close the Jag with the remote control (actually activating the alarm) and then not being able to deactivate it anymore.
This is why I am looking for a remote-controlled opening and closing solution that does not involve the alarm
