A complete parts kit for secondary tensioners only consist of left/right tensioners and 4 bolts. The most cost effective source has been to shop on-line Ford dealers for '00 - '02 Lincoln LS or Ford Thunderbird tensioner/bolts. If your cover gaskets show signs of leaking or you chose to replace them one of the on-line Jaguar parts sources will have the best prices. Your AJ26 engine cannot use the referenced Ford/Lincoln nor the often mentioned FelPro gasket sets for the later engines.

Find the price for the tensioners from an online ford parts distributor and then take it to a local ford dealership to buy and have them price match.

Order the shorter bolts!

Kragen-orielly carries 3 different gasket sets for these engines... they will have yours.

Readup on how to remove the dipstick which is in the way of the cam cover. I just cut the stud off with a dremel.

The dipstick is not in the way on the AJ26 used in the '97.

Jaguar began manufacturing the V8 in 1996. They are still building them. The 4.0L version was supplied to the US market until 2003, whenthey introduced the 4.2L

That listing only lists the Left Bank Tensioner #CA1512 (at 2 different prices???).

The Right Bank Tensioner #CA1511 is not listed.

My apologies I linked you directly to only one of the banks, you can use the ' catalogue subsection' to navigate elsewhere on the engine.
please find direct links below to each number:

http://www.sngbarratt.com/PartSearchResults.aspx?partno=C2A1512

http://www.sngbarratt.com/PartSearchResults.aspx?partno=C2A1511

Plain numbered items are Jaguar Boxed
Parts marked with a # are OEM
Parts marked with a * are aftermarket.

Please do hesite to drop me a PM or email if you have any questions.
