Default Valve cover gasket

I'm getting ready to do my secondary tensioners and just want to confirm that the Felpro gasket set, VS50724R, will fit my 2001 XKR. I know this fits the Lincoln LS and all the websites say that this gasket set does not fit the Jaguar, but I see it has been used by others changing out the tensioners. I just want to be reassured it will fit before I place an order. Thanks

I used the Lincoln LS OEM Gaskets on my 2000 XKR and they fit perfectly. If the Felpro fits the Lincoln, they will work on your car.

The Felpro should fit the AJ27 4.0 Liter Jag Engines.

+1. I used them on my 2001 XKR...fit perfectly...quality was very good, never had any issues.

I am just now replacing my leaky valve cover gaskets for the second time. I can't remember who made the first set, but they were pretty poor, and not nearly as good as the Fel-pro set. The first set did not have the bolt washers either. Now all I need is to find the torque setting again. Yes I will also conferm that, the part number you have is correct. Good luck.

I had recently posted this for someone else:

Camshaft bearing caps are 9-11 Nm. The secondary tensioner is 10-14 Nm and the valve cover is 9-11 Nm.
