Default VVT seal replacement procedure

Hello,
I need to replace the leaking VVT seals. Part AJ8-2856.
Does anyone have a step by step guide for doing this?

They basically just pull up and along the VVT actuator. Use a blade of some sort for assistance, nothing sharp that could score anything. Be double careful with the electrical connector and its tab. It's likely been cooked many times and is just waiting to crumble in your hands. Good news is that they are available separately.

Best of luck, keep us posted.

After you remove the old seals, clean the area around them to spotless condition. The cleaner you get the area, the longer it will take for the new seals to begin to leak....
