Default Want to replace floor carpet

I have a 2002 XKR and have a blemish in the carpet. I would like to find a good used carpet but don't know where to go.
any ideas?
Thanks!

The last time I replaced all the carpeting in a vehicle (probably in 1980 or 1981) I went to a local independent carpet store and bought a large remnant of a suitable color, thickness, pile, and texture. In fact, the remnant was much better-quality than the original vehicle carpeting was (1974 Datsun 260Z). I then pulled out the original carpets (after removing the seats and some of the console) and used them to make templates for the new carpets. I then cut the new carpets to match the templates, had all the edges bound by the carpet store, and then installed all the new carpets into the vehicle. The interior was immediately plusher and more attractive compared to the original interior, and the new carpets held up much longer as the years passed by. I finally sold that car in 1987....

This was so long ago that I do not remember exactly how much I spent on this project, but I do remember that I saved hundreds of dollars compared to what I would have had to spend to order all new carpeting from the dealership....

I used a pressure washer and carpet vacuum. Came out nice!

Some types of carpet can actually be "spot repaired" depending on the damage. Is it just a stain? If so I would try having a knowledgeable detailer give it a going over first before going to the expense and hassle of replacement. You'd be amazed at what they can do with old carpet.

you do not need form fitted carpet, it is easy to put in generic and it looks great. I changed from tan to black and love it. It is an easy, inexpensive upgrade that you will enjoy for the life of your car. do not clean the stuff you have, it is just done......
