Default Water in headlight?

Help I have water droplets on the inside of my lens of my headligh on my 2002 XKR. Is there any way to get it out or do I have to replace the entire headlight??? Thanks for any help with this.

IDK, on the later models there are vent to help condensation evaporate.

Hi KWinn,

I have moved your thread from the forum for the X150 to the forum for the X100, which is the Jaguar factory project code for your 2002 XKR.

Cheers,

Don

I just use common sense: if it can get in, it can get out via evaporation. And that's what works on my car.

Remove or loosen the clear plastic "lid" to the headlight (found underhood). After a day or two of driving around the water should be gone. Then either ensure ventilation as per above - or merely by drilling a hole in the right place (search this forum) - or just close the "lid" again and see what happens. The water ingress may never recur. Didn't on my car.
Good luck.
