I think most like the AllData subscription to suppliment the scan tool. I believe it is available thru Autozone, or on line [ http://www.alldatadiy.com/about_alldata/index.html ] I have this scan tool. http://www.sears.com/shc/s/p_10153_12605_00914781000P

I hope this helps!

Many people have gone with Autoenginuity. I believe you can buy an add on and get Jag specific codes with it. Kind of pricey when you get the jag codes, but if I was going to get one, this would be it.

Are you refering to the code reader or to the jaguar with getting the codes cleared with new parts?

I have a very cheap bluetooth one off ebay that I can link to my laptop or smartphone. Reads and clears generic codes, ideal if you are out testing cars to buy, useful for bargaining the price down if you find a fault too.

Both!

But I was referring to the autoenginuity reader. I think the code reader was like $150 and that did generic codes and it was like $199 to get jag specific codes, abs codes and that kind of stuff. The other good thing is that you could use the same code reader to get other manufacturer specific codes - for a price of course.

I've got the Auto Enginuity and love it Cost $480.00 with the Jag expansion codes. It also does real time, and it'll let you know if any performance products actually work. You can buy expansion codes for about any make of car. I just wanted to make sure my cat was healthy.
