Default Wheel damage and don't know what to do...

Hello all,

Glad to touch by again. I hope all is doing well. I'm sorry I am unable to be more in tune with the community, work and school is consuming just about all my time. I hope to be able to talk to you all more often.

I have a wonderful 2002 XKR coupe, and a few weeks ago, RF and RR wheel have been damaged. They are minor, but chrome. The wheels look like they were destined for this car, but it seems these may be wheels for 2000 XK8 18". My dilemma is, i've been told they cant be fixed, will be too expensive to fix, etc etc. I cant seem to find them online. Honestly, I just need help with this situation. This car means so much to me, and I am very lost on what to do. I don't think i'd ever be the same with any kind of changes to the way this car looks. It just works....... Here is a picture of the car and two other images of the wheels.

Also, does anybody have a clue what the name of these wheels are? I think Centaur is a tad different, but I really am not sure.

Whoever can throw me some advice, I owe you a world of appreciation. I will continue to search through the forums some more in the mean time. Thank you everyone.

If those are 18's, they are 'Sports' wheels, as jaguar calls them. Hollander number 59690

A salvage yard on ebay has two (2) chrome Sports wheels, looks undamaged, for $149 each. They are both 18x8" from the fronts, not staggered with 9" wide on the rear. You sure you have non-staggered fitment?

If all your wheels are 8" wide, I'd snag them if I were you. Your other 'price' options for chrome replacements are considerably higher. Check the inside of the wheel for a stamp, or your tires may all be the same size as well to confirm the width.

eallauto | eBay

Only other option is to buy four new refurbished silver painted wheels, for $300 each.

Good point, one is 18x8, and another 18x9

Well, you can certainly grab one of the one's on ebay, just leaves the rear one left to find.

Don't get me wrong, if I can ride on these wheels, I probably will... its just sad because now only two wheels have never seen a curb. Its hard to find flawless wheels

I am surprised tha they cannot be repaired. In the pics, they don'y look that bad. Another place that seems to have a good supply of Jag wheels is Detroit Wheel. Worth a look. They are online, and often have wheels on Ebay for Jags.

It's definitely repairable, but with the wheel having Chrome it is not reasonable to repair it. Re chroming is ridiculously expensive and the best thing to do is to replace it. I was hoping the same, but all ends have also shot towards replacement vs repair.
