Default Wheel offsets and choices...2001 xkr (with photos)

So I finally went to go rim shopping. An ultimate issue is knowing if they will clear the big brembo brakes which I want to upgrade too in the future..However I just shredded a tires and well...Im pushing a wheel upgrade asap. So for those with offset experience Help!!!! I compare to factory offsets with an offset calculator and not knowing what are potential clearance issues I ended up with nothing but a huge headache. I was comparing what I found to known wheels that fit such as Coventry and these all seem to fit..maybe.....

I was looking for a satin black rim with a silver lip and ended up with three choices I think will work. Two 20's and one 19. And then a black chromewheel which I didn't think would look good....And now am thinking hmm

Anyway here are the specs

Gianelle Puerto Black silver lip
19x9.5 35mm
19x8.5 35mm

Gianelle Yerevan Black with chrome lip
20x10 25mm offset
20x8.5 20mm offset

Koko Kuture Lindos Black Silver lip
20x10 25mm offset
20x8.5 20mm offsetlack chrome

And lastly the Niche Lucernce
19x9.5 any offset
19x8.5 any offset

Thoughts on offset and tire size? I prefer the 285 rear 255 front

See here for a calculator that will compare stock to any rim/tire combo you want. This will show you how much room you gain or lose. Remember whatever combo you go with the total diameter must be within about 3% of stock to prevent ABS and traction control faults.

I did play with the calculator. All seems well with those offsets visually....But every cars different. Even the Coventry wheels which are allegedly for jaguars aren't jaguar factory offsets for same size rim. I just don't want to go a mm to much in the wrong direction

That's a monster tire in the rear, a 285 with a 35 offset and 9.5, stock is 255 with a 33 offset and 9, will fill out the wheel well nicely.

Looking forward to the photo's

I figured with the lower profile more tire would help with the bumps. Hope it fits. Paid 1600 total. Should have the setup next week at some point
