I'm going to get the H&R springs to lower my 2003 XK8 about an inch and a half. If I also get some 15mm-20mm wheel spacers am I going to run into a problem with the wheels rubbing? Also, are the spacer in the Amazon ad below the proper bolt pattern and everything? It says they work on 2003 XK8's but h20boy said something in another thread about certain wheels not working even though they were advertised as being for an XK8.

 

Also, why do some of the springs I see advertised say that they aren't for the convertible? Does the convertible use different springs than the convertible?

 

I have one pair of H&R 20mm spacers that I could sell you if you want. Used with 3,000 miles on them.

Since the convertibles are heavier, I would guess maybe they have different springs.
