Default Where to buy front shocks w/active Cats

Everything I see out here seems to be for cars without active cats. Does anyone have any resources for the front struts/shocks with active cats. I was trying to avoid the full prices. 2002 xkr. I bought the upper shock mounts for my car this week. How do you know if the shocks need to be replaced at all or just the upper mounts? Do the front lower bushings usually go bad too?

Knowledge
I may be wrong but I don't think you'll find any after market shocks with the Cats. Many people have installed regular shocks and dropped the cats. There are a couple of threads on the subject.

I had mine replaced last year during a comprehensive front suspension bushing fitment. the parts cost for two new struts was $700. Since the old struts were already out for the other suspension work I did not have to pay an extra install charge. I am not sure but I think the new struts were made by Bilstein. And, I am not sure where the parts were sourced from. The new struts have functioned flawlessly. BTW, I have found Gaudin Jaguar to be excellent to deal with on ordering parts. They are very helpful and thus far have been able to find every part that I have enquired about, even small rubber and plastic ancillary fittings.

And Nalley Jaguar, another forum sponsor is excellent to deal with also. Dan is gone but Steve is there & is most helpful. And with you being right in the Atlanta area Knowledge, dealing with them is a no brainier.

You guys have been so knowledgeable and on point that I guess I would be foolish not to take your advice and give Nalley a try since Im less than 20 minutes from them. Thanks again.

Oh & when you do talk to Steve at Nalley, make sure to mention you are a jaguarforums.com member so you get the 15% off MSRP price.

Thumbs Up on Nalley, I've used them many times and they'll bend over backwards for you. Something that's hard to find these days.

Cerberus
Here's the definition
Computer Active Technology Suspension
(CATS)
Active or adaptive suspension is an automotive technology that controls the vertical movement of the wheels with an onboard system rather than the movement being determined entirely by the road surface. The system virtually eliminates body roll and pitch variation in many driving situations including cornering, accelerating, and braking.
This technology allows car manufacturers to achieve a greater degree of ride quality and car handling by keeping the tires perpendicular to the road in corners, allowing better traction and control.
An onboard computer detects body movement from sensors throughout the vehicle and, using data calculated by opportune control techniques, controls the action of the suspension.
