Default Why are my wheels gold

The full size spare is very silver. The wheels on the car are golden. Is this a normal thing.

A previous owner likely painted the four wheels and forgot to paint the spare....

Interesting. I wasn't sure if the wheels were available like this from the factory or not. If it's a paint job, it sure is nice work as they look like they came this way.

May have been powder coated. But regardless, they didn't want to pay the expense of the 5th wheel. I probably would have but that's me.
Do they coordinate with the top and interior? Couldn't tell from the pics. I think it would look nice with the red. TM

They look fine to me. I didn't realize they were unique until I started getting acquainted with the car.

I love that red and it is pretty rare (kind of matches the red of the Lexux NX we just bought). But I would have painted the wheels black rather than gold but that's just me.

After closer inspection, they were definitely painted and I agree, I would have done black as well and flipped those redlines to the inside. I sense a winter project coming.

I too like the red.

Can you run without a front plate in BC? It definitely looks better as-is.

A front plate is required in BC. The plate holder was not on the car when I got it so I'm going to take my chances on that because I think it looks awesome without it.

I live on Vancouver Island and haven’t had a front plate for more than 3 years. I haven’t been bothered by the police yet. I think they like the look of the car without the plate as much as I do!
