Default Wind Deflector/Breaker

Does anyone own a XK8 convertible which has the deflector as shown in the picture below. It fits into the side leather adjacent to the rear passenger seats, NOT into the seat belt fixing as many do. If so, can you get in touch. Not interested in any other type wind deflector. Many thanks.

This looks like a good system. I am looking to get a deflector myself, but cringe at the thought of drilling more holes into upholstery.

Agreed Sam, nice looking setup, been looking for a deflector myself, I've not seen that type of mount before, very clean!

For anyone interested, I have now discovered that this part is a Jaguar Part No. C2N 2266. Unfortunately, I can’t find any supplier of this deflector. Anyone any ideas?

Welsh lists it. They have listings on ebay as well showing that 2 are available.

Ran across this installation manual for it too.

Hi Rothwell, Thanks for the link, but unfortunately, the ones indicated on e-bay are NOT the same, although they are indicating the same part number. The supplier is incorrect with his information, unless the part was changed at a later date, but kept the same number. If you check out the connection arms on mine, you will see that they are different. Thanks again for trying. The link to the fitting instructions is helpful though and thanks for this.

Just found one on ebay:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Jaguar-XK...MAAOSwogZenYmx

The greedy seller is asking £750 for it. There is no way that this is worth that sort of money. Even with negotiating he only dropped £100. Still far to much. He says that he has sold three of these items over the past year, one to the UK and two to the USA. Anyone buying them at that sort of money, need their heads testing!!!!!!!
