Default Windscreen washer jets

Afternoon,

Since I had my windscreen replaced in my 98 XK8 my drivers side windscreen washer jet[s?] have been squirting past the window and missing it altogether.

Any advice on how to adjust?

The Washer 'block' can be slid along the Wiper Arm (arrowed in red) to adjust the base position.

Next, each of the neoprene 'duckbills' (circled in red) conceals a steel ball with a hole through which is the actual jet. Carefully insert a pin into these as a lever to adjust their relative positions and spray direction.

You do not want to damage the Washer 'block'. As I recall, the cost suggests it should be machined from a block of gold!

Graham

They are like £50 each!! However I have found a generic type on eBay that worked really well for £20

Thanks, is there a fuse I can pull to prevent the wiping of the windows while I'm doing this?

Actually, I think it's fuse number 3 next to the drivers door.
