Wing Mirror.....
Uhhhh some T***** has knocked my passenger side wing mirror off so its left hanging by the wires. Must have been some knock because there's a small dent in the door as well. Anyway I need to get the damaged bit off to make it safe until I can get to my independant to fix. Any best way of doing this - I'm not sure how to get to it?

Sorry to see that...terrible.
Remove the small triangular speaker cover inside the door, directly opposite the base of the mirror. It should just pull straight off. Disconnect the tweeter and set aside. You will see a putty-like material in the cavity now...pry it aside or out, and you will see a single bolt holding the base of the mirror to the door. It's a Torx bolt, if I remember correctly.

Thanks for this - Yes I can see the bolt - and have ordered a set of Torx - hopefully the right size will be included in this set of nine. It goes from T10 to T50......
