Wiper bolt caps

Every used XK8 I looked did not have caps over the bolts at the end of the wiper arm. Name: 048.jpg

When I was in Ace hardware I found these filler caps for 50 cents.

The ones at Lowes are 2 in a package for $0.98, are more black than the pictured ones appear and do not have the small nipple in the middle. Looks exactly like my one remaining OEM cap.

Geez---where were you guys when I bought mine from the dealer for $1.69@. I also replaced the rusted nuts with SS from local nuts/bolts supplier---couldn't believe Jaguar was to cheap to use SS in the first place. I think I spent more for the SS nuts than I did for the caps.
