Default won't start too much fuel

help I'm stuck in Virginia and I need to get back to El Paso Texas took my car to a repair shop they replace the fuel modulator because it was not getting any fuel to the rails and now its pumping too much fuel the mechanic is kinda lost the shop is normally close on Saturdays but he came in anyways to try to fix it...Any suggestions

I'm not sure what a fuel modulator is, but I think the 03 has the 4.2 with the returnless fuel system where the pump is controlled by a fuel pressure sensor under the hood. Check the fuel pressure and see if its in the range. If not, this sensor or the pump may be bad. Also check the harness from the sensor.
