Still have both! And both still run perfectly. 125k miles on the 01 and 46k miles on the 06 Victory. Just had many of the front and rear suspension bushings replaced in the 01 and it now drives almost like new. Will likely get a new convertible top and headliner this summer. 06 Victory is just super cool. Still a head-turner!

Thanks for the link Billy - I'll check them out.

I won't be removing the badges on the fender

I'm familiar with Houston - flatter than flat. I like the Mountains on my doorstep, I must say.

Cheers!

also, I don't think the XK8 Convertible came with the "R" Performance Package, therefore you should remove the Badge on the Left Front Fender! Get a British Flag or something like that, since you are from there...

The country in the background of those Photos is really pretty, We have to go to far West Texas and New Mexico to see Mountains like those....Here in Houston, we have to stop on top of a Freeway Intersection Turnstile for our Mountain Views!

Sorry Guys! I've tried sending this Photo 5 times and this is what I've gotten each time......Why do they make it so damn hard to send a photo? Does anyone know what to do? I've sent a number of Photos in the past......BCP..

I am probably biased, but I still think these Double Fives are THE best looking rims made by Jaguar.
Incredible beautiful with the blue.

Eric,

My 2000 XKR, which was Anthracite/ with Black interior had Double-Fives and they are Good-looking Wheels! Although, they are pretty far down the line from BBS "Detroit's" or "Montreal's"! But Eric these "Apollos" on that BRG Convertible are pretty darn good-looking! I'm thinking maybe better than Double-Fives!

Just showing off a few pictures of my cat.. : 0) She's a 2001 XK8..

This was about a month ago on a pretty day here in NC.

Love the color combination of these Jauars.. Ivory with the Sapphire is my personal favorite combination..

Gilfriend and me last year out and about at the beach..

I been free from a job since 2015.. I do Youtube videos and online business.. So the tags are fitting for what I do.. : 0)

I agree the double fives are the best looking..... 18" wheel.
Apollos are the best looking 19" wheel.
Montreals are the best looking 20" wheel.

Thanks for the compliment. I think so too.
Winter has been mild up until today. Woke up to 8” this morning. Past few storms where a couple of inches and light.
Last nights snow is wet and heavy.

Your 01 with the lighter color top.. What have been using to keep it cleaned that you have found the best? I have a Sapphire with navy blue top combination and it is probably a little easier to keep clean than yours with the lighter color I am assuming.. So wondering what you found the best for keeping it clean..

Thoughts on my 01 cat.. Suggest keeping the factory rims or changing them? I don't get to ever see another cat on the road with these where I live.. And they do look good on the car.. When I first bought the car I was all about modding it like I had my other sports cars.. But really I get compliments all the time on it just like it is.. So I have left them up here for now.. Just like to hear some thoughts and suggestions on what rims to go to if I am looking to swap.. Thanks..

Default 7 spoke. I don’t know the name.

I like the simple design and with a smidge wider tire
Here in Minnesota we’ve had a record February with 40+ inches of snow. Exercised it this weekend on our 1/4 mile driveway but with the Toyos, it’s quite a skate. Piles along the sides are taller than the car.

Having such an adventure without recording it on video is a loss to us all.

McCann,

I will take a guess, as the Photo isn't the best....but I would say the Wheels are what Jaguar calls "Centaur" and usually are found on the 2004 Model XK8/XKR and they are 18" Wheels...Sorry about the Photo...Try it again!

I had the same rims on my car when I bought it and they were fine... I always wanted some larger wheels than the 18", so when it came time to replace the tires I looked around for a used set of wheels and rims and found these (for <$500 net after selling my original rims):
