Default Lowered Platinum '01 XK8 with red soft top, about 320hp. Might be for sale, EUR21K.

Workshop, exhaust isn't installed yet

In our workshop, Pale Primrose Yellow 2002 XKR waiting for engine upgrade (new chains, metal tensioners, upper and lower Powerhouse pulleys, custom built 1.9L intercooler with 1200lph pump, manual fuel pressure adjustment system, ECU remap or new sport computer), also 2.5" sport exhaust system - 200cpsi cats, X-pipe, short central resonator, rear resonators, all straight through and polished, 4" double wall tips. 245/45R18 + 275/40R18 on black BBS Milano wheels. This cat is fully restored too. Expected output about 500hp. LSD next.

Rebuilt engine - new chains, new metal tensioners etc, 3.5" Mina cold air intake tube, K&N filter in the stock box, covers painted in red gloss

Full respray in Platinum, new red soft top from best material available, headlights painted in matt black. 1" drop Adamesh springs (red), new excentrics for correct camber, 245/45 + 275/40 tyres on 18" Impeller rims, suspension fully rebuilt. Small 200cpsi cats, X-pipe, cherry bomb resonators (red), Magnaflow sport mufflers XL-series with 4" double wall tips, all pipes 2.25", underaxle - the sound is awesome. R mesh, R trunk spoiler, 3.5" cold air intake + K&N air filter, red emblems all around. Red Brembo brakes and ECU remap in next two weeks. Expected output about 340hp.

Nice work !!

Unsure how much HP my 07 xk 4.2 is putting out but i ran a 13.72 @101.5 with virtually the same mods (tuned by old jaguar)

Yet to go back since upgrading the throttle body and installing 3.58 diff gears .

uksimon - It appears you have something against the GREATEST COUNTRY IN THE WORLD?!? Seriously?

And, BTW, the license plates give it away that it is NOT from the US... The OP is from Latvia. Closer to YOU.

Isn't that the main reason we buy a car like the Jag X100? I purchased mine because it stood out from the crowd and showed my individuality. Yep, "look at me" I drive a cool car.

Question The Mouth......

Hey UKSimon!

If you can't say something nice about the Man's Jaguar XK8, then please!!! Don't say anything at all!....OK! Remember, a whole bunch of us "Americans" had Grandparents that came from Wales and Scotland, so you are sort of talking about people just like yourself!

Oh my, did I say that? Why "hush" my mouth!

Because there aren't "look at me" people in the UK lol. It's nice though that when you dislike something because you view it as gaudy, you think about the US...

The car might not be your taste but it's really nicely done. It's not my style but red top and possibly guts over silver isn't very out there as a color scheme. That red is a nice looking red for a top too.

The yellow and the silver with red are beautiful IMO. The X100 is one of the best looking cars on the planet. Others are faster , can pull more Gs on the skid pad etc; but the combination of looks and performance are close to perfect. I often go to the local car club "cruise night" at local A&W Drive-In. There are loads of machines there ( mostly retro American ) , some of which have cost their owners $20,000+ for the paint job alone. My 15 year old unrestored XK8 always gets attention and admiring comments.

I think the red top on the silver car is gorgeous. Kind of hope it also has red inserts on the seats to match. The primrose yellow is also beautiful, although I am not so enamored with the wheels.

I think the silver with red top looks great. I like the primrose, it's an eye catcher but not a color I'd go for myself.

Here are a couple of mine from a run out last weekend. Fall colors are hitting here in Utah.

Please send your gorgeous autumn weather our way. I have been sick of our lingering summer heat and humidity for months now. Bring on October....

Some nice looking cars on here guys. With some impressive scenery behind. Nice to see others enjoying these cars all over the world.

Keep up the postings. They make an interesting read. (take no notice of Simon, just doing it to 'wind you up' as we say in the UK. )

Yes let's keep the politics and country slamming out of this please. For a lot of folks this is kind of a safe haven, would like to keep it that way.

Not the best photo but shows the contrasting colour when the sun hits the open door. Standard Jaguar Amaranth Purple, 1998.

From Moray, "The best county in the other best country in the world", SCOTLAND.

Not common boring black or white like all the other Jags, BMWs, Audi's and Range Rovers where I live.

All the best to everyone.....

like the color, like the wheels, but the license "plate" slathered on the nose. That must be an acquired taste.

Look ma, no plates!
