1997 XK8. Less than 78,000 miles. Rare color, and it drives like a dream.

I have to sell it, so if anybody is interested, PM me. I live in Vancouver Canada, but I could deliver it myself if negotiated.

Talking Just got her today!

Haven't driven her yet. Hopefully I'll get her running in the morning. Wish me luck!

I took my little car for a drink last night. Just a country pub built in 11 something or other.

Smile What is a GameCock anyway?

JRabbit,

It appears the Gamecock appeared and stayed for awhile on XK897's Boot (Photo #4)! I've heard those Birds are Pretty messy sometimes!

That is because mounting a leaper on the hood of an XK8/XKR seriously detracts from the look and lines of the vehicle....

^^^^^^^^. +1

and that's why you don't see them on any e types either.

Z

PS. It just isn't needed to ID the car as a Jaguar. Friends of mine who don't know the first thing about cars can tell the XKR is a Jaguar without the need of ANY badging to guide them. That's called "heritage" or "DNA".

The Leaper was on it when I bought the car in 2009. Didn't like it at first but has grown on me :>)
