So here's my baby - I bought her new in June 1997 and ticked almost all the extra's boxes at the time. 72,000 miles and over 17 years later, she still makes me smile. I never did understand why Jaguar discontinued Ice Blue so quickly...

I've never had the opportunity to see Ice Blue and Frost Blue (my 2005 XK8 4.2-S) together but they look a very similar shade.

They are pretty similar in the flesh (There was one quite near me a few years back) They initially "replaced" Ice Blue with Seafrost which had too much of a greenish hue for my liking. Yours is just a shade or two darker than mine. Looks equally pampered too... :-)

 

 

Don't see many in Midnight. Looks great with the chromed Hydras.

Can you keep it like that or does OH force you to fit a front registration?

I have never been without a Jaguar since 1965 when I was 13. It was a 1962 E-type OTS. I have owned over 30 Jaguars since and I own my present E-type 25 years and my XK8 a year.
